Drafting Technician:
Purpose
For the experienced and knowledgeable drafting technician utilize their field and CAD skills to prepare drawings of existing structures and proposed additions.
Product
The drafting technician's finished product will be all the plans, sections,elevations and site plans required for approval by the local building department.
Responsibilities:
Measure:To take accurate field measurements and prepare sketches on graph paper.
Draft: After the measurement drafting technician will prepare all the required plans, sections, elevations and site plans.
Some building department visits & general office duties
Required Equipment
Each drafting technician shall have the following:
Vehicle in good working condition
Email
Tape measure
Drafting tools

- Are you able to maintain a good working relationship with business associates?
